Dr. Mokshda Manchanda is currently working as an Assistant Professor of English at BITS Law School. She has previously worked as an Assistant Professor of English at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi and at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharam College, Delhi University, Delhi. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English (honours) from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University, and a Master of Arts in English from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. She is currently awaiting defence of her doctoral thesis at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi. Her thesis is titled Representation of Self and Trauma: Examining Autobiographical Graphic Narratives by Women Writers. Her research interests lie in related areas of Autobiography Studies, Comics Studies, Popular and Visual Cultures, Performance Aesthetics and Science-Fiction Literature.
Mokshda has presented her papers at several national and international conferences and has multiple publications to her name. She has also been awarded a scholarship by Birkbeck, University of London to attend the London Critical Theory Summer School 2023. Outside of her academic work, she is also a trained classical dancer with a degree in Bachelor of Performing Arts in classical dance form Odissi.
