Prof. (Dr.) Supriya Chouthoy’s research interest lies in understanding how CSR can develop new markets, position products, gain new consumers and create a basis for establishing sound and lasting relationships with consumers. Her Ph.D. topic “Building Brand Commitment through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)” helped her explore this aspect closely. In addition to teaching courses in Marketing and Advertising, Supriya has also offered electives in Public Relations & Reputation management, Advertising & Consumer Culture, and Innovation Management & New Product Development. She completed her PG Diploma in Psychological Counselling from TISS in 2019.
Before joining academia Supriya worked in the industry for 11 years with organisations like HCL Ltd, Blue Dart, Lowe Lintas, Genesis Burson Marsteller, and Honeywell. Her academic experience of 14+ years has been with Symbiosis International University, Bennett University, and Flame University.
