The BITS Pilani Legacy

The Birla family are doyens of the Indian industry, both pre-independence and post-independence. They have championed the cause of nation-building in India as a significant contributor to India’s freedom movement and are pioneers of building educational institutions since the 1900s. The group has established iconic schools, colleges, higher education institutions, and universities, including the notable Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani which has been a premier higher education institution in India for over 50 years now. Since 1964, BITS Pilani has created some of the world’s preeminent industrialists, thought leaders, academicians, officers, and corporate leaders who are often found charting new territories and building fulfilling careers.

Among the many recognitions and accolades, BITS Pilani was declared as an 'Institution of Eminence' by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in 2020. With state-of-the-art campuses in Pilani, Hyderabad, Goa, Dubai, and Mumbai, BITS Pilani promotes a viable, ethical, and sustainable educational approach. The same ethos forms the foundation of its newest campus in Mumbai that offers cutting-edge education in business management and law.

The success of the BITS School of Management (BITSoM) has given us confidence to grow the rich educational legacy by establishing the new-age, future-ready BITS Law School.

BITS, Pilani has been accredited by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) with 'A' grade. For more details, please visit BITS Pilani Accreditations.
